Visitors can find the Museo de Pintura Mural (Mural Art Museum) of Old Havana in an old building located on the famous Calle Obispo (Bishop Street). Some experts say that the building the museum is housed in is one of the oldest in the city. Havana is famous for architectural works, exemplary of the local aristocracy at the time. The museum highlights this internationally recognized wealth through art.

The museum displays exhibit from past and recent artistic periods. All of the rooms inside the museum, the galleries and the courtyard are designed to display paintings and feature some of the architectural elements of the building.

Two showcases you cannot miss during your visit to the Museo de Pintura Mural: fragments from the Condes de San Esteban de Cañongo (Counts of San Esteban de Cañongo) and the casa de don Mariano Carbó (House of Don Mariano Carbó) mural.
