La Casa del Veguero, in the region of Pinar del Río, in Cuba, is the perfect place to discover the fascinating tobacco culture of the island. In this dryer, you will learn about the cultivation process of the native tobacco plants, which ripen from February to May. 

The leaves are stored after the harvest in large wooden rooms. The staff of the house will be happy to explain to you any doubts you may have about this particular national crop. You can also buy authentic Cuban cigars at a reasonable price, as well as have lunch at the restaurant they offer.
